Will be interesting.
Venables will deploy different looks this game. More safety and corner blitz maybe…? show 2 high safety again but disguise the coverages all night
Grubb running play action passing attack, isolate Ryan Williams…make OU respect the big play then throw underneath, dig routes. Bernard quick screens to get the run game going.
Arbuckle get TE Kanak more looks, empty sets so Mateer can see the defense better, maybe run QB run off it.
Womack running shell defense to make OU run 12 play mistake free drives, mix in blitz packages to heat Mateer up…

One of our biggest issues has been that we haven't been able to hit big plays this year. Even when he has played at his best this season Simpson has never thrown a very accurate deep ball, and our best vertical threat in Ryan Williams isn't very good at catching deep balls even when Ty manages to hit him in the hands. Very frustrating.
