Why did Blake Baker turn down the HC job at Tulane, his Alma matter?

1). LSU will pay him the same amount
(Remember we are the poors???)
2). He can stay at LSU three years and win a natty or two
3). Then he will have his pick of several jobs including:
Bama
Florida
Auburn
A&M
And others
Without using the Tulane stepping stone
Win win for LSU and Blake Baker
Geaux Tigahs!

There was a time, not too long ago, when LSU fans weren’t so insecure on here that they tried to troll Tulane. My how the times have changed.

I really hope that Lane calls Charlie Weis Jr the morning of the Ole Miss playoff game and demands that he fly home to Baton Rouge immediately. Then we find out that this move has been planned since they accepted the LSU job. That melt would be awesome to witness. One more troll to the fan base that loves trolls.

Tulane is going to the playoffs. He wasn’t going to do the same. Stepping into a situation that would take the shine off his star for a stepping stone job. He at least isn’t dumb.
