He did the best he could do and I hope he doesn't get unfairly doused with all the blame.

He also did what his fan base wanted him to do. There was one of those “up vote-down vote” polls of Ole Miss fans about whether Kiffin should coach OM if he took the LSU job and the fans were unanimous with “NO.” That’s unscientific, but very revealing.

Maybe I should have said "he did what he thought was best for Ole Miss."

I just hope the guy is okay coming out of this thing. He should be. Like I said, it was a very tough, unusual situation.
