Must has been said about our improvement over the last month especially on defense. It made me curious to see what guys have played a lot more or less than early. I checked out the overall snap count from our first bama game and there were several that defintiely stood out:

-Bowens was our leading snap getter with 28. Next was Mcray with 12. Frazier with only 8.
-Colbie young had the most WR snaps with 40. Dillon Bell only played half that amount, and Noah Thomas only a handful although that was obviously due to Colbie. TEs recieved the amount of usage you'd expect
-In E Green's absence the RT spot rotated all game between Gaston and Hughley.
-Top 3 snaps from the DL were Miller, JJA, and Eli.
-Gabe Harris nad Quintavious played much of the game...for some reason I don't remember them playing that much or making that much of an impace. CJ/Raylen/Cole played a bunch, Justin Williams only 8 snaps
-Kyron Jones and Jacory split the safety snaps opposite of KJ. Demellos played 54% of the snaps while ER played in 48% of the defensive snaps.

Colbie will for sure be missed, but I'm hopeful that we make improvmeents everywhere else. Frazier will surely get more than 8 carries. The OL took a massive hit with Bobo but the other positions should fare better than late time. OLB and CB have really come on strong lately.

Bama's players also have more snaps.

What section will you be in, and when does your coverage start?

I won't be in a position to assist with any pics until around 5:30 or so.

He’s been dealing with a back injury all year

I’m aware of that. I thought there was another. And there is something going on with his family

312. Ever since 2021 we've sat up top for SECCG due to the incrase of the silver circle and magill people. Good problem to have I suppose.

I'll be at the ferris wheel lot around noon or so. Hadn't planned to document anything but if you'd like me to send a bunch of pics throughout the day I'll be glad to.

I'm not so much concerned about Bama as I am being without our starting center.

Also, I hope Tech didn't expose Stockton's weaknesses for all to see.

Youre mixing snaps and carries for the running backs. I wish Bowens got 28 carries because we probably win if he does.

Nate has looked better but I still think Bowens is our best back. Can't tell if he is in the doghouse or just banged up.

I think the freshman Taylor plays a significant amount at WR and gets redemption for his drop.

Losing Bobo sucks but I think we will be okay. Hoping Glover can fill in at C and then we could have Gaston and Greene to his right.

Let Ellis man up Bernard and see what happens. Damello, Everette and Robinson are our best 3 CBs. Bump aguero to the bench

Bowens got hurt in either the second or third quarter of the Texas game getting a first down.

Yeah but kirbys post game comments were weird.

quote:

On how close Chauncey Bowens was to playing
"He could have played. Chauncey could have played. He was banged up and was limited during the week. It was one of those deals that he didn't get a lot of reps during the week. We felt like the other guys had more reps. Josh had a really good week and those are the guys we went with. But he was hobbled some during the week."

Like sounds like he was definitely dinged up but then also mentioned McCray had a good week of practice. Idk, I may be reading to much into it. If healthy, I think Bowens at worst needs to split snaps with Nate

Kirby at his presser said that Dontrell Glover and Micah Morris have been taking reps at center in practice.
