I’m not well versed but I perused some individual SEC stats. They have a 6’2 185 freshman receiver from Florida with 25 receptions @ 15 yards per catch, Winston Watkins. His height and years remaining stuck out to me. And of course, Deuce Alexander WR from metro ATL.

I want that RB from Florida. Let's get Etienne to talk to him. He could get us to another SECCG all by himself.

We are going to have to overpay for a transfer running back, because we whiffed hard last year in recruiting and are about to whiff again. The running back coach needs to get his shite together in recruiting. The kid from Colquitt was our 4th or 5th option before he got kicked off the team for a week.

Convining a high quality portal running back to come in might be difficult too. They'd be looking at Bowens and Frazier on the depth chart, and then thinking about what happened to McCray and how McCray didn't get as many carries as he thought he would..

He had 3 carries in the previous 3 games before the Tech game, and he'll probably go back to the bench on Saturday if Bowens is out there. I doubt that's how he pictured this season going.

But I agree with you in general about the committee approach.
