Is the committee really going to leave out Tulane and North Texas?

If a coach leaving drops you out of the playoff at ole Miss you have to apply the same standard at G5. But no one actually wants that.

The committee is dropping ole miss in the rankings but not completely out of the playoffs.

Yes they can. Put in UNLV if you’re going to devalue a season because the coach is gone

If they win their CCG the committee has to let them in and cannot leave them out is what I am referencing.

Ole Miss will be in. But the real sad scenario will be if Duke wins the ACC and the two of the top 5 conference winners with guaranteed spots are N Texas and James Madison. Where is the value in those two teams and how broken is the system if 2 G6 teams get in?

Top 5 champs are guaranteed spots. Nothing says AAC has to be top ranked. Put in James Madison instead

Currently it would be JMU as they are ranked ahead of NT but NT will square off with Tulane and whoever wins that game the prediction is they will jump JMU in the rankings for the final spot.

JMU is ranked 19th
NT ranked 20th
Tulane ranked 21st

If Duke wins the ACC the winner of the NT/Tulane game will be in as well as JMU
