Sumrall has racked up wins immediately, but this is Fritz’s team. Fritz is the one who beat USC in the Sugar Bowl. And Fritz left because he wanted more money invested in the program.
John got a new QB, but really what has he done other than being another Les Miles or Larry Coker and winning with another coaches players?

Yep what’s done is done.
Stricklin will never land a high profile coach so this is where we’ll always be as long as he’s our AD.

Florida needed a splash hire to rekindle what Urban and SOS had built.
All due respect to John, but this is an unserious program now all because of a bum who dresses from the L.L Bean catalog.

I see the OC was at Arkansas as OC in 2018 and 2019 under Chad Morris.

It’s crazy the booster are ok paying a high buyout while hiring another nobody coach . If I was a booster I would be pissed.

We def failed this coaching search majorily...it is sad and comical how bad Scott is.

I am pissed but hoping the hire turns out alright. You never know with someone like this until they coach in the SEC. Just getting a decent OC and not having an IQ of 50 when it comes to game mgmt would be big improvements over Napier.

For those who remember, we all thought Muschamp was going places when he hired Charlie Weis. Didn't happen.

to be fair to muschamp, Weis bolted after one year.

I forgot about that. It was Brent Pease and Roper who stunk it up offensively for Muschamp. If only Charlie had stayed.
And Muschamp still had a winning conference record! Unlink Billy the clown.

Seemed like a good hire all around. A great defensive coach in Muschamp with a very proven offensive mind...should have been a dream..but Weis clearly had checked out and did not care.

Yep the decided schematic advantage sucked but our QBs were pretty bad then.
