I’d certainly take him as DC. I have a feeling he’s gonna be available if the barn doesn’t hire him as head coach and I don’t think they will.

If auburn doesn't hire him for HC, they'll almost certainly lose him. Not saying they should hire him as HC, but that's how it goes.

He’s a very good DC. He played us well in the IB. If he had his own staff, maybe he could be a good HC. But there’s no patience in Lee County.

We’ve had more patience than should be. This dates back to Gus years. Bama wouldn’t be able to cope if “rolls” were reversed.

Just because you claim 42 NCs doesn't make you an elite program. Auburn is a 2nd rate program who's goung to hire a 2nd rate coach. Deal with it.

They could do a lot worse. I don't know if I'd want him as a HC but Durkin was awesome here as DC and held the team together during Muschamp's reign of terror.

I think he could be a great hire somewhere else, the problem for UF fans is he's so similar to Napier. We've done so much better with offensive minded HCs yet we're probably gonna give Sumrall $10 mil a year? When Golesh is right there in the state.
