You’d have to play an extra game and might lose an easy playoff spot.
Losing to Alabama was the best thing that happened to Georgia if Alabama wins the Iron Bowl. TAMU beats Bama in the SECCG, their boogie man is out of the playoff and they coast to at least a semifinal.
