If Tennessee wanted a DB to play hurt, It would be McCoy or Gibson. Carter's coverage skills can't touch either of them.

Since that medical exam, UT played SEC games against Kentucky (Oct. 25) and Oklahoma (Nov. 1). But Carter did not appear on the SEC availability report during either of those game weeks.
Heupel was asked if Carter should've been listed on the SEC availability report before those games.
"No sir," Heupel said. "Not based on our (athletic) trainers."
The SEC availability report is not an injury report, according to a memo sent to conference schools. If a program is certain that a player will be available to play in the next game despite suffering a well-documented injury in the prior game, the program is not automatically required to list that player on the availability report.
That's relevant in Carter's case because he played in every game until he missed the New Mexico State game.

He should’ve never recruited him to begin with. 4(5?) high schools in 4 years, was kicked out of one due to an SA allegation.
