Miami wins the ACC and is in at 12 with us in at 5. We beat the hell out of Miami at home with Beck as QB. That would be awesome!!!

That would be awesome.

I don’t think the #12 ranked team gets in though because the commie system saves 1 spot for one of the little sisters of the poor schools

Conference champs should get in ahead of the #3 or #4 team from the SEC/BIG.

#12 doesn’t get into the playoff because one spot is guaranteed for the highest ranked conference champ from the group of five

Currently, #24 USF would take the playoff spot over whoever ends up ranked #12

Deal with it

I think it’s actually James Madison right now not USF

Haha. What a foolish system

The five highest-ranked conference champs have automatic bids.

Right, but the Group of 5 is obviously going to be taking the 12 seed in the playoff rankings

It js nearly impossible for Miami to play for the ACC championship because they have both their losses in conference and there’s a lot of one loss conference teams that play each other but not them left.

Their path is only really an at large. Which I find hilarious.

Georgia hosting James Madison in a first round playoff game would be the most hilariously bizarre thing ever. I’m pulling for it hard

These freakin control freak greedy dopes that ruin everything

I think that it would be a cool scenario. A grudge home match against Beck would also be a cool scenario. I’d be fine with either. But I’m not actually sure Miami is getting into the playoffs as a 10-2 ACC non conference champion game appearance team. And this is assuming they actually accomplish 10-2

The only reason they got 2 teams last year was 9-3 clemson upset SMU in the conference championship, and they were at least the 3rd best p4 conference. This year theyre clearly worse than the big 12 so a team not in that game making it? I have big doubts

The non-Power 4 dork will be the 12th seed this season. There ain't no Boise this year.
