CFP Jordan Travis Precedent: If Ole Miss Prevents Lane From Coaching Rest of Season

Piggybacking off of joshnorris14's excellent reporting in his thread:
If the CONFIRMED Hoopshizz tweet is accurate (it is), and Ole Miss does not let Lane coach the rest of the season after Sunday, should the College Football Playoff Committee leave Ole Miss out of the playoffs?
This is no different than the Jordan Travis injury that kept an 13-0 FSU out of the playoffs
For reference:
