QB situation for 2026?

We are in a really crazy situation at QB going into 2026 unless Kiffin takes the job. There is no way you can keep paying Lagway anything when he has literally thrown as many picks as TDs almost. I think I read it was 23 TDs to 21 interceptions. I wonder if there is any other QB starting in all of power 4 with that many starts that has almost a 50/50 ratio like that.
As far as Jones you can't take much from last night obviously with that situation but his background and recruiting status says he projects as backup level in the SEC not starter level QB.
If we don't land Lane that gives a very short window for the new coach to get a starting QB for us from the portal. I guess depending on the coach maybe he has one at his school he can bring with him.

I admit I was buying the hype and ignored his struggles when teams started adapting late last season to his play. A few Gator fans were pointing it out but it was mostly opposing fans saying his 9 picks last season in that amount of play showed he couldn't read a defense.I guess us winning those games clouded my judgment.

Sounds like he is the backup at an FCS school Sacramento State. Some lawyers were saying it appears the Judge was going out of their way to help him with the lawsuit though.
