Auburn has me worried this weekend…

Their defense has been stellar all year, but offense has been nonexistent. With Freeze out of the picture not sure what to expect. Texas killed us with short passes in the flat and we tackled like shite.

it really is hard to imagine their offense showing up at this point in the season but i agree that defense should give vandy some serious problems. should be a tight one like a lot of their games have been.

it's also interesting bc durkin, more than most interim coaches, has a real chance to win that job and is likely highly motivated to have a good showing.
i believe the all-time series is tied at 22-22-1, vandy has a chance to restore order this weekend. a lot at stake.

I’m expecting the offense to improve. Addition by subtraction. Freeze would basically scrap the game plan and practiced plays during games. Kept the offense off balance.

#8 had been our best tackler all year. Not sure he could have tackled me on Saturday.

The dead cat bounce or whatever it's called usually comes from teams who didn't like the coach anyway and are glad he's gone, so you may be on to something.
