Why would he downgrade?
They can't pay him more.
He gets a shitty AD as opposed to the best in the nation he has now.
Knoxville > Baton Rouge
More donor money at UT.
One of the best NIL collectives vs one of the worst.
Heupel leave for the LSU shite hole?
He might use this to get a raise. That is about it.

Just like we couldn't get the buyout money for Brian Kelly?

I don’t think you quite understand the level of support that there is for LSU football. There are a ton of wealthy alumni/donors who will step up to the plate for LSU football. Or the amount of football talent available to LSU in their backyard per capita compared to Tennessee.

I don't think you understand that Tennessee can buy you FOR WHAT YOU THINK YOU'RE WORTH, sell you FOR WHAT YOU'RE REALLY WORTH, and afford to take the loss.
Yes, we see that support. You SOBs run for the exits every time you're down by 3 points.

If they want him, they’ll take him.
It is the proper and natural order of things.

Josh Heupel grew up in South Dakota. He like bland food, or at best German/Scandanavian food.
Maybe a lot of it...but bland. They don't season their food up there.
