For Christians only please ...

This is not a response thread. I do not condone those nor do I tolerate them. I put this question to you ....

Does God call a football coach or team to suck?

Take the case of Hugh Freeze (not for any particular reason) ...

Is it that he and Auburn are sucking because God wills it? (downvote)

or is this consequences of his ineptness? (upvote)

What say you? Non-believers, please do not get involved this question without understanding it. God bless

So, I take it you're a Calvinist. Presbyterian or one of those complicated new Baptist Calvinists?

I believed in God until Hugh Freeze coached my favorite football team. Now I only believe in the devil.

I kind of go with both. God created us with our corrupt nature (which He don't mind so much) but also allowed us a perspective of free will.

You would figure if 1 team “sucks”, then another was granted “victories”.

It’s strange because my roommate’s father always seem to have good luck. ex.: At a casino, he hit a jackpot on a slot machine. While waiting for the attendant, he played a neighboring machine & hit a jackpot on that one.

While the possibility of this event occurring is true, the probability of it is extremely minute.

He helped Tebow beat all the demons on the teams he played against. He chose sides and Tim was his man.

But Tebow grew arrogant and God punished him by being humbled by LSU Tiger.
