How good is the LSU backup QB?

Nuss looks like he's been eating too many Caniac combos. I have feeling he's going to get sacked like 4/5 times, maybe more.
BK feels the heat and might flip the script on the Aggies and roll the dice on the backup - looking for a spark.
Can the backup scramble back 15 yards and then roll left? Arkansas set the blueprint

Obviously not very good if he can't beat our Nuss.

Not sure it would matter anyway with that OLine. Unless he's Jayden Daniel's-level of slippery/elusive.

Started for MS State last year and looked pretty good for a true freshman. I'd like to see him play. He's mobile, not Jayden mobile, but definitely mobile.

This actually concerns me. Green ate our lunch last week. I think our DL gets so focused on the sack that they sometimes don't maintain discipline in their rush lanes and leave a gaping hole for a mobile QB to escape for a huge gain. Either they collapse the pocket too shallow and he breaks outside, or the DE gets too wide on the speed rush.

He had 3 TD passes vs TAMU last year.

I remember Van Buren, he looks like a good player.

Don’t rightly know should have started entire year with nuss injured .. causing racial strife

This is true.
Best case for A&M is they do what Bama did to Mettenberger. It felt like total dogshit for us but for Bama fans that must have been hugely satisfying to see Mett belly crawl after that final blow late in the game with the final outcome long settled.
Nuss, like Mett, is gritty.
