before running the table to win eleven games in a row was 1975; losing to Missouri, 20-7 in Birmingham. Missouri finished 6-5.

Alabama shouldn’t lose a game the rest of the way and is basically a guarantee at this point for the CFP.

Still 2 ranked opponents to go plus surviving the Jerkin Hair Stadium voodoo.

2 more solid ranked teams at home and 2 very difficult road environments against teams who are due & would virtually save their respective seasons by beating Bama.

It will not be easy.

We have an abysmal run game to fix and a defense that is getting better every game to continue to evolve before we have a shot at winning it all. But maybe.

Exactly.

South Carolina is the perfect trap given what DeBoer has done on the road against unranked opponents and Jordan-Hare is what it is, especially if they fire Freeze and rally around Durkin.

Plenty of landmines ahead.
