and he has not made a single one of them any good.

Agreed.
If anything he is detrimental to good QBs coming here.

And why's that?
Because good QBs know better than to mess with Freeze

There were multiple good QBs that visited Auburn’s campus the past couple of portal cycles. Freeze chose Thorne, Daniels and Arnold.

They visited for a check.

Wouldn’t have mattered who he chose, he and Austin would have destroyed any of them.

Correct and would have signed for a check. If you want to feel even more depressed: Cam Ward would’ve signed with Auburn last year for the same amount of money Arnold was paid this year.

I highly doubt that. Cam made the right choice signing with a school that can help his career.

Crystalballs? The guy that doesn’t know how to take a knee to win a game? BS, good QBs elevate the programs they go to. Crystalballs was on the hot seat 2 years ago.

He went to Crystal Balls and Miami rewarded him with a legit OL and an All American receiver that could help accomplish getting drafted Number 1 in the draft

Jville, the guy who has been wrong about every QB at Auburn for the past ~10 years, still hasn't figured out that all of those allegedly "GOOD" quarterbacks that we passed on would look considerably worse at Auburn right now under this coaching staff. Because a QB's performance is quite obviously tied to the offensive coaching staff's competency. So he is looking at their current performance under different coaches in good offenses, and assuming that there would be a 1-to-1 translation if we were to somehow transport them onto our roster today with Freeze and company as the coaches.
How is it that Gus Malzahn could apparently "evaluate" the correct QB's back when his offense was novel and fresh and no one had an answer for it, but yet as soon as DC's figured out his offense (and the rules were changed against him) he all of a sudden kept recruiting and signing the "wrong" QB's who were all "bad"? Even Chris Todd with a bum shoulder looked good under Malzahn once upon a time. Did Malzahn's eyed for QB ability somehow go blind, or did his QB's start looking bad as a direct result of the fact that his offense itself became bad? The answer is obvious to anyone who wants to be honest.
The story of Bo Nix is literally sitting right in your face as the perfect example, and you fail to interpret it. Nix looked average at Auburn for three years under late-stage Malzahn and Harsin, and then he immediately turned into a Heisman candidate as soon as he stepped foot at Oregon. The guy didn't all of a sudden train to be an amazing QB, nor did he magically pick up some new skills out of nowhere that he didn't have at Auburn. The only difference was the coaching and offensive system in place.
Another clear and obvious example of this phenomenon is Michael Penix. The guy was at Indiana for 4 freaking years and was the definition of expendable over those 4 seasons of game action. In his final season at Indiana he had an absurdly bad 4 TD's to 7 INT's. Then, he transfers to Washington under DeBoer and immediately turns into a Heisman candidate and one of the best QB's in the country. In his final two seasons at Indiana he completed 56.4 and 53.7% of his passes, and after transferring to Washington this skyrocketed up to 65.3% and 65.4%.
If you were to use Jville's logic you would come to the conclusion that Penix was a D2-caliber QB at best coming out of Indiana based off of his lack of performance there, but yet in reality he turned out to be one of the best QB's in the entire country? Nobody's ability can change that drastically overnight, especially once you consider that Penix wasn't "young" or "inexperienced" when he left Indiana. The only answer is that he looked really bad in his time at Indiana because the coaching staff was bad around him. Duh.

Right!
Good QBs know where they can flourish. The mids and worse are the only QBs that want to call Auburn home.
Peculiar thing is despite that top receivers stayed attracted to Freeze's offense.

Ward would’ve been just as good throwing to Coleman and KLS last season.

I didn’t read your 4 pages of rambling, but you keep saying bs like this. Tell me what QB I’ve been wrong about? Gatewood? I know the kid personally, so yeah I was rooting for him. You saying Ashford wasn’t better than Finley or Thorne? I also said Freeze was making huge mistake by betting his career on Arnold. How’s that working out? You retards keep saying that shite, but I’ve been proven right time and again.

Nah man. Cam Ward isnt Cam Newton. We had some issues and they weren't fixed this year.
So Cam W. went somewhere else and got drafted number 1.

Dude, you also were calling for Gatewood to start. And then in 2023 for Ashford to take over mid season. You just join in with the wrong crowd because you buckle under the pressure of these idiots that side with the coaches that have dug the hole deeper and deeper for Auburn football the past 10 years.

That was during fall practice in 2019 when neither of us saw a snap from Bo and only a couple snaps from JG.

Over Finley. Not Thorne. Check your timeframe.

Wrong, but I’m not going to argue with you man. Like I said in another thread, Lane Kiffin wouldn’t be hot commodity right now if he had Thorne and Arnold as his QBs the past 3 years. He’d be on the hot seat just like Freeze is. Auburn folks of all people should know that a dynamic QB covers a multitude of coaching sins. If Freeze had the PTB pony up the money for Ward last season, Auburn wins 9 or more games, and everyone would have been singing his praises. Freeze chose to run it back with Thorne, and then followed it up by signing Arnold. And for that, he needs to go.
