On Thursday, both CBS and TNT Sports announced that Pearl will be serving as an analyst for their networks during the upcoming 2025-26 campaign. At CBS, the 65-year-old will call games and work as a studio analyst during the regular season, while his TNT role will place him in the network’s studio alongside host Adam Lefkoe and fellow analysts Jalen Rose and Jamal Mashburn.

I guess with the Inside the NBA crew moving to ESPN they had to find new guys to supplement the CBS crew for March Madness as well as cover the new college hoops coverage on TNT.

It's going to suck not having Barkley on during MM but hopefully Bruce will still talk up the program. Also, Turner's Atlanta studios are an easy drive from Auburn so I assume for now Bruce stays around campus as he said he was going to do in his retirement announcement.

The quote in OP also says hes going to be calling games. That requires a decent amount of travel. Not as much as a coach, obviously, but he will still be going all over the pplace.

I will always love Bruce for what he did for the program, but this retirement saga has a slight hint of a betrayal feeling in my stomach. Here's to hoping the program doesn't skip a beat.
