Because we appear to have no ability to make adjustments, especially on the defensive side.
But I will admit I was wrong in my thinking. Adjustments made were excellent and a tip of the hat to the defensive unit and staff.

That's why this was such a huge win: we were given all the ingredients for a disaster and we actually turned it around. Even Saban's teams started falling to bad starts (though it was much less frequent).

Just feels like we're finally starting to get better for the first time since 2020

There were a few times in the first half where we didn't seize momentum offensively and we really need to do that as our defense is more hit or miss.

Examples:
- 1st Quarter. First Drive of the Game which led to an INT. Game tied 0-0. Leading the game and able to run is a huge advantage.
- 2nd Quarter. After Vandy fumbled on their 2nd drive, we forced a punt. We needed to put points on the board to go ahead. Game was tied 7-7.

The biggest drive of the game was the 2 minute drive before half. That was ABSOLUTELY critical and could have been

During the Shula days.... we had pretty good teams but couldn't seize momentum and put games away. We had to learn how to do that when coach Saban first started. I am hopeful we are starting to turn that corner....
