Ty is going to go 1st round this year and then Keelon is going to seamlessly step in next year. Works out perfectly

I hope you're correct but we still have a long way to go. Ty has improved no doubt. It may depend on the QB class overall on where he lands. I dunno if 1 year is really enough for some team to roll the dice on a 1st round pick hoestly.

Let the season play out mistaken!
Don't get ahead of ourselves. Let's focus on Vandy!
I love the optimism though

This draft class is weakening compared to preseason hype for some draft eligible players.
Arch Manning is not a 1 and done. Klubnik has played poorly. Sellers has measurables like Milroe but similar disjointed performance. Nussmeier has looked like arse too.
Mateer is probably the top prospect coming out right now. So the idea that Ty Simpson keeps on playing at high level means he's at worst the 2nd QB taken in the draft is not exactly fantasy.

Ty isn't a first rounder. He will come back another year.

This is one of the weakest QB draft classes in years. He could easily go 1st round.

If Simpson continues to stack up efficient games like he has since FSU, he will be a top 15 pick if not first QB taken. Not many programs run progression read passing attacks anymore. He’s got value because he’s not an RPO merchant.

Assuming he continues to improve week overweek and plays well, the weakness of the QB class is the best reason for him to go 1 and done. However, which teams end up nearthe top of the draft board could be a good reason to pause before pulling that trigger.

Good point. And he can still operate the rpo

Ty a first round QB is very viable...but obviously depends on how the rest of the season goes...team wise and individually. But last night he looked like a top 10 pick...great command...showed great mobility...and has plenty of arm talent.
Ty...then Keelon...and after him I'd like to see Gunner Rivers next up.

It will be between Moore and Simpson at this rate.
ETA: Never mind. Moore is a sophomore.

Let’s get through this season first.

Maybe someone who’s really into recruiting would know more, but I was talking to a guy at the Wisconsin game from Tennessee, and he was saying Ty’ little brother is absolutely tearing it up in high school. Hopefully there is Bama interest there…
ETA. So Tidesaint actually has a little blurb about little bro on the recruiting thread. There’s a vid of Ty with his fam postgame.
