We didn’t play a Michigan type team last year in OOC

OU tight end Jaren Kanak is on pace for 968 receiving yards, which would be the most since Mark Andrews had 958 in 14 games in 2017

Cole does these on all SEC teams each week:

Cole Cubelic
@colecubelic
OKLAHOMA: Handled their business. Offense had some really good & some meh. Zone scheme looked better at LOS. Still not great getting to 2nd level. 54 played well. 12 is the ultimate Swiss Army knife. Helps blocking. Reliable hands. Quick game was going. Catch & run is going to be tough to manage with this group. Great this game. QB off on a few there. But man he makes some silly throws. He was great eluding rush. Have to cut down on free runners. RBs bounced outside well. 6 is super smooth. They do a nice job blocking outside. Defense great. 65 & 0 were a problem inside. 10 showed nice versatility on/off ball working inside & off edge. 13 on lots of pressures. Effective. The inside stunts are just filthy. Timing of pressures was nice. Got home often. Def played REALLY fast. They attack the ball. Did a nice job batting balls at LOS. Fun team to watch.

Wear Crimson

I am so glad. Had season tickets on the 40 for decades before moving to AZ five years ago. Had to buy one white OU T-shirt and one OU sweat shirt for the stripe games. They always had the same pattern.

I am flying in on Thursday and will only wear and bring crimson. If fact only wearing crimson all week.

Something dawned on me. Our D players are motivated to keep anyone out of EZ but likely and especially JA.

Our next game is Kent State so any 2nd half ejections mean they sit out first half of KS. We could have 5 and it won’t hurt us next game. Meaning I expect as a subplot our D will be aggressive and hit hard.
