i wouldn't have started the thing if i would have known the personal attacks were going to come. i guess i should have known better...i've been here a while and did some of it myself in the early days.

This has slowly become one of the more personable boards. There are still alot of stupid flames, but for the most part, you can post without the kinda crap you caught over there. Here it's mostly tongue in cheek kinda stuff.

yea i agree the sec board started like the rant and has evolved into actual good discussions and good fricking around for the most part.
I would say its a bit like the ot. It has its members that joke around with each other and its not really personal attacks and then it has some actual discussion about each others teams. Then you have the new guy that wonders in and it does get a dirty. Just like the ot when a new person shows up
then eventually the new guy either stops being retarded and is ok or he gets hammered until he leaves

it really did start out terrible. in fact i thought it was worse than the rant at one point.
as time has gone by a nice collection of posters from diff. teams have all come in. of course i am a secret bama fan, so that's why i'm here.

its hard to be as bad the rant was but it was defiantly alot worse when it first started. Now every team for the most part has good posters on here.

I agree that it's somewhat like the OT, except there isn't near the vulgarity towards the girls, which is refreshing. It's all good to have fun, but there is some respect somewhat here. fwiw, I think a few of the lnt talk threads helped foster this.
