Thoughts about the post of Bama aside, the gameday experience was horrendous.

The entry into the game was awful and unorganized. There was so many people trying to funnel in and it reminded me of the Travis Scott disaster. It took forever and if you were claustrophobic, you might have had a panic attack.

The planting of the spear was okay but not as cool as I would have thought. Burt Kreisher was decent.

The concessions were completely unorganized. I waited in line for 20 minutes and no water was left when I got to the front. This was in the 1st quarter.

Then I was stuck in line for half of the 3rd quarter and got to the front just as the 4th quarter was starting (4 or 5 lines were funneling in to 2 cash registers). Since it was the 4th quarter, they stopped selling alcohol.

The stadium on my side was not nice at all - but I think the other side has been renovated.

Did the stadium feel small? With the renovations they are under 70K now. I know luxury seating is the trend, but 67K seems small for FSU.

Couple of other thoughts:

Frat houses and campus reminded me of West Virginia. Very trashy and litter everywhere.

We went to one tailgate in a parking lot outside of stadium. Different vibe than I was used to and super crowded.

It felt like a mid tier ACC school stadium.

Then it hasn’t changed in 20 years…I briefly taught there after getting married, in laws were Golden Chiefs boosters and the wife is an FSU alum. It’s a rough morning in my house.

I half jokingly have called it Tallatrashy or Trailerhassee for decades.

Never been to an actual game there but I've visited the campus before and unless things have changed since 2009, the "Florida State campus is full of models" claim is a flat out lie. There are way hotter (and significantly more) women on Bama's campus. Most of the women I saw were literal gargoyles.

Dressed like harlots. Every bama fan we encountered commented on it. The difference between the Bama fan and FSU fan was stark.

Seems appropriate since we played like a mid tier ACC school.
