Jackson Meeks and Dominic Lovett are battling for the last WR spot on the Lions roster. Meeks led the ACC in receptions last year, and Lovett is running great patterns and catching everything thrown his way. Looks like Meeks may not make the roster though. HC Dan Campbell likes Lovett's play on special teams.

Pretty sure it’s Lovetts spot.
Just checked and was pretty surprised he ran a 4.40 40 yard dash at the combine. Much faster than I assumed

Speaking of Lions, any updates on Dirty Dan? Initial reports of his injury sounded both serious and vague, which is generally not a good combination.

I heard he was doing really well until his injury. Unfortunately based on when he was picked and the NFL works monetary wise, due to how serious his injury seems to be I’ll be shocked if he isn’t cut.
The good news is he will almost certainly get another shot somewhere else or maybe even re sign with the lions if they value him enough to rehab off the active roster

Lovett dropped a wide open pass that would've been a first down on the first possession of Detroit's first preseason game lol.
