I talked to a dude I know in Warren who said Burks has been having some knee issues and now this is terrible. I had high hopes for him in the pros. I hope he gets to play this season.

Unbelievable.
I've never seen a player get injured as often as he does.
He had great potential, but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

And he's been waived.
I believe he will get picked up by someone eventually. He just needs to heal up and decide if he still wants to play ball.
He's still young with tremendous upside.
