What is up with the Bo Tillman situation?? I read in another thread on another site that if he don't get enrollment this morning at OM he will fly to Knoxville and enroll at Tennessee. Seems like Orgeon at his finest trying to get yalls recruits.

His brother is our Starting Defensive end. We should land him pretty easily. But who knows. Tennessee's already cheating up a storm in Knoxville.

Yes I know that. I live like 30 minutes from Meadville, and have seen Franklin County play alot, and for the record if it wasn't for EO, Marcus would be a Tiger.

and if I read correctly. USM was holding up his enrollment because he signed a LOI with them last year. He went to a prep school to work on his grades, so that makes his LOI null and void. Your athletic director "can't remember his name" is holding up his admission for some reason. I read where EO has been recruiting him hard, and that he will fly to Knoxville if your athletic director and OM dosen't admit him this morning.

Basically, our inept Athletic Department is dragging arse getting him cleared to start school. It's not an NCAA issue (ala Powe), it's just our athletic director's lame arse response trying to avoid dealing with more grade risk athletes.
Ole Miss has until noon today to clear him, or he's packing his bag for Rocky Top. UT will have no problem admitting him and he will play for the Vols.
Ed O was in Oxford yesterday talking to Tillman.
I expect Bo to be cleared sometime this morning, but it's still embarrassing that UT is willing to take someone and we don't seem too interested.

I dislike Pete Boone as much as the next Rebel fan but this is the admissions office fault, not the athletic department. Khayat has more pull than Boone in this situation.
I'm fairly positive Ed Orgeron just reads Yancy Porter's hotlist from the Omspirit to figure out who he's going to recruit next.

Our AD sucks, hes got by noon to get Bo Tillman in school or he is flying to Knoxville this afternoon and will sign with Orgeron and co.

Yes, Boone SUCKS, but...
Bo did not graduate from an accredited high school and he cannot be admitted to Ole Miss without the NCAA clearinghouse saying he's good to go. If Bo had graduated from a high school that was accredited, he would have been admitted immediately (Craig Drummond's situation).
I don't know what Orgeron and Kiffin think they can get. If he doesn't get cleared by the NCAA, he can't be admitted to UT either. It's a moot point with the NCAA making the final decision.

There's a chance Tillman may just visit UT this weekend, then come back to Ole Miss Monday if eligible... but this whole situation was mishandled from the start so nothing would surprise me.

I think our staff will be clear that the issue is not Ole Miss right now. It's with his high school issue and the whole LOI to USM deal.
If he is playing football in the fall, it will be with Ole Miss.
But right now I am worried this is going to turn into Powe Saga v2.0
I don't know even think Orgeron has an understanding of the situation. Too much Red Bull and Slim Jim I think.
