IDK, just a thread about what's being said today.

Hugh Freeze spending his time talking about fixing dude's golf swing on the set. Freeze spoke about having QB plays that aren't flashy but gets the job done, also not just forcing throws to highly covered Cam Coleman, etc. Keldrick Faulk blinged out, laughed about the "NIL doesn't suck, does it?
" comment. Faulk talking up Jackson Arnold.

I would very much appreciate this happening.

We have several other highly regarded receivers. Dont like singling one player out like he is julio jones with the misfits

I think that may have been more of a comment directed at last year than anything else.

Apparently Faulk donated some of his NIL money to a walk on. Didn't see who it was. Pretty cool of him.

Freeze, Says he likes what he's built in the squad, and that our roster is just better, and that our locker room is bought in. Says we could've won some games with the right players, we'll see about that.

Questioned you're 0-4 against UGA/tusca, due to the players and being at home he thinks we should do better.

Pysch tests done on kids in the portal for entry, to see what they bring, was done on Jackson Arnold to see how they like to be coached/addressed

You lose Jarquez, what do you expect from the RB Room: Talks up damari alston not showing potential, and that he wasn't given that credit, Cobb has the speed, damari is the big horse, and they want to see how darrell robinson performs in the fall, but has to have it continue with the OL we have with size/height.

How do you compete in the playoff/post season games, we gotta build that experience.

note: Phil Marshall looking a little more lighter weight/healthier good for him.

Relation with Kiffin: what he thinks of Lane, loves him makes him laugh, doesn't care about the social media stuff

winning the close games, what's the change? don't want to spend the rest the time, gotta look at himself as a coach, turnover issue, not enough red zone TDs, not great defense on critical downs, and FGs missed at critical points. Need to do less schematically, and says he needed more peices to the roster, better players, make better plays, but looks inward to us as coaches.

what does the hot seat present? Expects it, doesn't want to give into the pressure stuff, he wants to do the best he can, but ultimately doesn't have a seat at the table for the story making. Watch out for this team,

OT improvements, with the transfers and the veterans of lew/dwade/too tall, thinks the OL should be really improved from the last two years with height/weight

Caleb wooden to arkansas talk--blegh

are you tired of having to defend playing golf? assures it doesn't take away from his time to take auburn back to the cfb top

Jackson arnold sack talk at OK? what's his ceiling? Loved him out of HS, he fits freeze's schema, but why didn't it work well at OU, had several player callers/injured ol/receivers, but his throws and toughness at the alabama game, knew he had the toughness, and Freeze wanted to give him a restart with the receiver room and the OL he has here at auburn.

So is he making excuses again or is he saying, no excuses, the roster is fine

This actually annoyed me... why do they let them waste a question asking about what someone will bring to a different program other than Auburn. Glad Freeze answered it quickly and moved on, but man they should have some screening for some of these reporters.

46-50 since WW2, how does the baylor game go in Waco with the roster, yet we haven't lost that roster much with the amount of losing we've had? Credits the culture and the coaches under him, and that the first game is a big focus on that first game.

Jackson spurts of light, what's he improved? The improvement for Jackson is that he was confused with all the playcallers, but that now there is very little confusion in the eyes of Jackson now, and that he is very quick with his decisions.

Any strategy with taking QB from OK, with them being the opener? Nope hadn't thought about that, but it does help

Don't think I've heard any excuses in the presser. He seems to have answered all questions well and notes that we should compete this year. Seems to know this year is make or break this year.

Wants to be consistent with having some returning players and having the faster guys in special teams, than we had last year.

talked about eh Hurry up No huddle? Defense have caught up, while they were sucessful, but we have moved more towards a more complimentary football, but is more in the middle between the fast defensive football, and the middle, but says it's hard for the teams here for elite offense vs elite defense

Are there personell packages with less tight ends utilized? used 10 personell less in the past, but that there would be more of that with the current team.

Looks there is no QB battle at all and that's it's all in on Jackson Arnold, which I think is a great thing for us, none of that last year BS.
