SEC fans in general

I’ve met and hung out with a handful of fans of every SEC school throughout the years. They all have been pretty cool with the exception of a FL fan one time (that’s another story)
My point is, their character in general is not indicative of the behavior within this board. EXCEPT for the longhorns.
90% of them I have met in real life have come across as self entitled nerdy twats. For the life of me I can’t understand why.
Maybe the A&M fans can educate me since they have dealt with these bafoons for much longer.

I think the arrogant douche bag types just generally gravitate towards being sips.

The only fanbase I’ve ever viewed as terrible live are Florida fans.
Not saying they all are terrible but they are brutal if you go to a game there.

Its like we raised our little brother Louisiana all wrong
Texas can be a bad influence at times

Sadly, very true. I use to go to a lot of away games. Been to Bama, Ole Miss, State, Auburn, and Arkansas 5 or 6 times each. Been to Georgia, So Carolina, Tennessee, Vandy, Kentucky, A&M, and Texas. Never once have I had even remotely an issue. Most fans are quite hospitable when you demonstrate good manners and sportsmanship towards them.
Florida in 2008 was, by far, the exception. Never been treated with such rude hostility in my life by an opposing fanbase. I couldn’t get out of Gainesville quick enough.

They’re drunk on moonshine, high on tide pods, and will pick fights, throw shite at you on the way down from your section. I’m not saying other schools don’t have shitty fans, but yall are fricking bad bro

most sec fans away from online message boards are fine. I've never been to a game in baton rouge but my dad's side of the family are from Louisiana and all are lsu fanatics so I've seen how bad they can be. I won't make an assumption that all lsu fans are as bad as they are.
Unless it's a known fact that lsu fans and hard liquor are a really , really bad combination.
Rarely meet an ag or oklahoma grad in person that I don't like. Message boards bring out the worst in people.

I’ll take it, but so should you. Trust me when I say this. LSU fans don’t shake hands and say, that was a good game. They’re pretty ruthless.
