Jamae Harris passed Cedric Johnson his gun before the shooting; just as Darius Miles passed Davis his before the shooting.
Video shows Davis, Miles and Bradley walk away from the jeep after the initial confrontation.
The third witness in the Jeep with Harris and Johnson testified that Davis told Johnson he didn’t want his baby mama (Harris).
Johnson testified he always carried a gun.
Johnson testified he was upset and wanted to fight Davis. He clarified he meant fist fight, not gun fight.
After the initial interaction, the Jeep circled the area. When they approached Davis and company the second time the jeep turned off it’s headlights.
Defense witnesses asked Johnson if they turned the headlights off because they were about to perform a drive by shooting.
Johnson testifies they didn’t know the headlights had shut off, saying it must have been a vehicle malfunction.
When pressed about circling the area, Johnson testified they were just trying to figure out how to leave the strip. They had a GPS which they had used previously in the evening. They did.not attempt to use it when they were circling the strip after their confrontation with Davis and company.
The defense asked Johnson if they were actually hunting Miles and company. Johnson said they were not. The defense asked if they actually were lost, why had they not used the GPS that had been using earlier in the evening. Johnson said they didn’t think about using it. Again they asked about the headlights “malfunctioning” and if they had not in fact been turned off by the driver. Johnson said the headlights were not intentionally turned off.
When the Jeep was searched, police found gang paraphernalia and digital scales. Johnson is known to be a member of the West Side Money Gang and is accused of being a drug dealer. They did not find the gun he used in the shooting.
The prosecution claims that Johnson was defending himself from Davis, who is suspected of being a gang member in Baltimore.
The defense claims Davis was defending himself from Johnson, who is known to be a gang member in Birmingham.
It sounds like two young men had a disagreement and handled the dispute the one way they knew how, a shoot out.

Basically just some text between Miller and Miles that I can't make heads or tails of but someone translated it for the court . Miles texted Miller saying he wanted his gun for protection, that Johnson was saying he was going to open a can on Miles and Davis.
Miller said ok be right there, he arrived and Miles gets his gun from the backseat and Davis gets it and walks up to Johnson's car and girl in backseat hands Johnson a gun someone shoots first , both shoot back and young lady gets killed.
Miller said he took two bullets to his charger and sped out bumping into Johnson on the way out.
I think what really happened is Miller got a text from Miles about his gun Miller was coming back anyway so he was thinking it was two thugs acting tough . If not he would have got out of there as soon as Miles got his gun . Miles had a thug best friend who he let get him in a bad situation, Davis walked up to the car with the gun and saw Johnson handed a gun , panicked pull his , they both aimed and basically fired at the same time.
Miller looks like he was just young and stupid and not understanding what was going to happen. Miles is dumb for hanging with this thug and will probably get 20 years or more for being stupid, Davis probably going to get life. Johnson should get something for his role too . Just a bunch of thugs acting tough and a kid has to grow up without his mom.
