Gators are now 0 for our last 7 versus our big three rivals (UT, UGA, FSU)

They showed some heart to take the lead in the top of the 9th, only to have this happen. Pitching has been god awful lately, 2 walks and a HBP in the bottom of the ninth after taking the lead is devastating.

Pitching is as bad as I remember for a Gator baseball team. the run of 16 straight trips to the tournament is in jeopardy. At least we have softball.

They were lucky to get in last year because of a favorable RPI.

This year, they may need to win the SECT to get in.

Remember, we had lost 7 straight to our rivals (swept by UT & UGA, and the FSU granny). It was a bad time when I posted that.

The SC sweep today was great. We’re almost back in it! I still think we need a great showing in the SECT to get in.

I’d love to crash the Hattiesburg Regional.

Crazy that even after that post we lost 2 of 3 to Ole Miss and got swept by Vandy, then things turned around and we beat FSU for the season series win and went on a 12-2 run to get where we are now. Still not a lock but if we can win a couple/few more regular season SEC games we should keep playing in June.
