Not only are the new faces gonna create some great new/renewed matchups, but also the new set-up (either 1-7 or 3-6) is gonna allow everyone in the conference to play home and away in four years.

Florida has not played in Auburn since 2011.

Georgia has never played in College Station.

Tennessee has played at Ole Miss once since 2009.

Arkansas has not played at Vanderbilt since 2011.

A&M has not played in Lexington since 1953.

The conference will actually feel like one league. It's exciting for an old football fanatic.

Did something get announced? Because, they've been pondering this whole thing for the past 5+ years.

No. It was simply on my mind today. They have made it clear that it will be one of the two formats I mentioned.

Auburn/Florida and Tennessee/Ole Miss coming back regularly is good for the SEC.

Florida still owes us a few games in Fayetteville first to make it right. The SEC has screwed us on schedules repetitively.

9 games is stupid. We should go to 10 conference games and 2 non-conference games.

In a 9 game format, half the conference will get 5 home conference games while the other half will get only 4 home conference games.

We should go to 10 and make it 5 home and 5 away.

I agree, but they could never get the coaches on boards with it.
