AU/Duke Rematch

Pretty cool to think/dream about. Fingers crossed it comes true.

I ain’t drinking the kool-aid. I want us to first get through the first couple of tournament games. Not sandbagging, but another Final Four would be a great achievement.

I totally get it. We all have the Kessler and Smith led 21-22 team in our rear view mirror to point to as a reason why. We have a ways to go in the SEC plus, the NCAA tournament is a roulette table. You never know who gets hot/cold.

I feel like that team was figured out by opponents around midseason and weren't able to get around that.

I'm seeing the same thing this year in that opponents clearly know what is coming but STILL aren't able to stop it. That gives me some hope, but as someone already said - need to get past the first two rounds at minimum to consider this a big success.

Down by one point at the half and lost by 18 . Their small ball lineup killed us. Bruce has hopefully learned his tourney lessons from the early round exits. I do think we have a much well rounded team this time around a center piece player. We need to continue to have different players come up big in the remaining SEC slate so that everyone is firing on all cylinders come tourney time. If Jahki can get his head out of his arse, he will get a chance to play and build his confidence. We need his athleticism since we have one dud on the bench in JP.

Their guards killed us but Jabari being ice cold from 3 was another contributing factor. I was at that game and watched the shootaround before the second half. I don’t think JS hit a single 3 and I knew we were losing that game.

It’s so nice to have multiple 3 pt options now

Guard play decides March. They didn’t have it that year.

Jared Harper and Bryce Brown? Hell yeah.

Exactly. Wendell, Zep, KD, Flan and Devin aren't in the same league as what we have now. This team has guards who can play with anyone
