Oh, we know. The fanbase is not really happy with this. Fanbase asked for LED lights and to get rid of the State script on helmets.

They gave us LED lights, new premium seating, vertical scoreboards, and more expensive season tickets. People arent happy with this.

My hot take is these renderings are just something for Selmon's resume.

For regular seats, sure. Large majority of this is suites/premium seating which has a lot of demand even during the lean years. That’s the same for every school.

It’s tough to convince someone to spend 1,000+/year on a couple bench season tickets on the 25 yard line but there’s a long list of decently wealthy people at every school willing to spend on premium seating options.

Who knows if this will ever get done. But I do like the idea. We don’t need 10-15k new seats but we do need to close in that end zone and the stadium could definitely use more premium seating

Looks good. But I said when it happened that the multimillion dollar donation yall got should have gone straight to NIL.

Get back to going bowling every year and the stadium will expand itself..........

The longhorn embedded in the south endzone at Texas is pretty awesome. Wish more designs would include those trains of thought.. Funny how State gets joked on being Moo State, but the last time I was at the Egg Bowl in Oxford I walked through a premium "Cattle Gate" on the east side to get to the stadium.
