Why is Hines Ward the WR coach at ASU and ours is James Coley?

Simple, Cooley has South Florida ties and is a good recruiter. Not sure the same can be said for Hines Ward just yet. So ask yourself why hire a guy with no real previous coaching experience.

Yeah I think Kirby was hesitant to bring in a first time coach that has never done the coaching grind before.

The way Hines came at Kirby through his media connections begging for a job early on. I remember that being pretty cringe and off putting

Hines made short man jokes and likes to pick on people about being short. Short man jokes not cool - when you're short!
When asked about Smart as a teammate, Ward gave a playful jab but made sure to note that he's allowed to poke fun at his former teammates.
"He's got the little man and syndrome, he gets kind of upset a little bit... I can say that about those guys, but I love each and every one of them."

Coley is garbage, he was an awful offensive coordinator and he is a terrible WR coach. Not saying Hines would have done any better but coley needs to go
