Probably because the talent level of the two teams are fairly close.
ND was #9 in the 247 talent composite. Indiana was #57.
PSU was #11 in the 247 talent composite. SMU was #25.
Texas is #4 in the talent composite. Clemson is #5.

I’d like to see it but I’m really not confident in Ewers or the offense at this point.
Everyone saying our defense will shut them down but I haven’t seen enough of Clemson this year to say one way or another. I k ow they have a lot of talent and will be up for the game.
I expect a close game but hope I’m wrong.
