I'm thinking there might be more activity in the spring window. There are several players from the playoff teams that will enter. There'll be some from the four losing teams from this weekend, but good players from the remaining eight teams are going to wait until spring. Drink is taking this into consideration no doubt. In fact, he's probably already "spoke" to some of them.

What QB could we possibly reel in from a playoff team?

Just grab the Nevada QB and let's roll. Drink got him on campus for an official visit back in 2020, same year Cook signed.

I haven't looked at the rosters, but my post wasn't just about QBs. We have a few other holes to fill. But I have no doubt that there will be some good QBs entering the portal in the spring, playoff team or not.

Could use a Kristian Williams replacement at DT. Maybe another larger DE to pair with Zion.

We got our playmaker upfront on the defense, in Wilson. The only position that seems to standout for another portal addition might be WR. We've got talent, but a lot of it is unproven. Our 2-deep has 4 guys with experience, but as of now, Madison is the 5th WR and the 6th would likely be a true freshman (Donovan O.)

That's not so bad if our OC can really begin to include the TE's. That to me is an untapped resource in the passing game.
