11-1 overall 8-0 conference.
These young men don't play for NIL. They are not going to get the big NFL contracts. They don't hit the transfer portal as soon as they don't get as many snaps as they think they deserve.
They will however die for this country if necessary.
No, they may not have the strongest schedule around. However, they will play anybody you put in front of them. Including a group of guys with an AK-47s.
I think it's a travesty that some of the teams who were included came in over Army.

Give them Tennessee's spot.

I agree. Let's swap Tennessee out for them

All respect to them! My nephew is at West Point. They don't belong in the playoffs. I agree with everything else you said.

Unlike most fans in here who base their self worth on what a bunch of college kids do, like you. I would actually be okay with that.

We could give them LSU's spot.
Oh, wait....

Why not? There are probably two to four teams in the playoffs that they could beat.

I actually edited it and made it incorrect. So, yes, I am a dumbass.
However, the only dumbass alter I see, is you. Now, don't you have some dildos to lick on the Public Square to protest firearms rights?
The rights those young men that play for Army are willing to die to protect

There are probably 30 teams that fit this description.

Yes, I agree.
Do those teams have an 11-1 record overall and 8-0 in their conference?

Because they would get boatraced, and nobody wants to see that.

I love watching this year's edition Army. They play my kind of football.
But, how many teams not in the playoffs would beat Army? Several.
So, no, they shouldn't be in over any other team.
Got a feeling this thread will get bumped later because you know this was BS.

Agreed. Would be bad for America.

They are no worse than SMU and played a harder schedule.

That's what the Germans said about General Anthony McAuliffe and the 101st Airborne at Bastogne.

If they had knocked off Notre Dame (who is pretty good this year, other than the usual WTF mess up) hell yes, put the Black Knights of the Hudson in the CFP. But they lost fairly decisively... for a military academy to make it to the CFP they need to run the table.
Would I have absolutely lost my mind cheering for them if they made it and walloped someone like Clemson or Indiana? Bet the family farm on me yelling myself hoarse.

What if they lose today to Navy?
Even if they went undefeated (beating Notre Dame) they couldn't be in the playoffs because they still have a game left to play, after the committee has already chosen the 12 playoff teams.
Now that the playoff teams are chosen prior to the Army-Navy game, I wonder if they'll consider changing the date in the future?
ETA: I agree that Army should be in the playoffs (provided they win today). They are at least as good as Indiana, and maybe SMU and Clemson.

Needed to be competitive against ND.
I will say, lets enjoy Army vs Navy cause it is the last brand of college ball where student athletes commit to an organization.
