It's not infatuation. It's disdain and hatred. They are scum which is proven by the use of the jayhawk as their mascot.
Historically a jayhawk is a raping, murdering, thief.
As long as that school uses that mascot - frick them and theirs.

Is this kind of like Iowa State are the Cyclones but their mascot is a bird? You're saying KU's mascot should really be a 19th-century terrorist guy.
