And I hear Nathan Dick has transferred to Central Arkansas. If this is the case, they have little depth at the position.

Mallett has lost weight, is running more, and is buying into Petrinos program--he has a rocket arm. Saw him in high school and he is a leader. He will surprise folks next year.

Well good God, there's nowhere to go but up based on his performance at Michigan last year....

Mallett has a lot of potential. I really think he will be awesome in that offense at Arkansas.

Did you watch any of them? He doesn't throw a tight spiral..and sure, he has a big arm, but his accuracy is poor.

Still, I was somewhat wrong on Snead (though I'm not fully convinced he is THAT good), so if I'm wrong, I will readily admit it.

Nah, big10 football is boring. That was 2 years ago.

Mallett will be fine. I just hope we keep picking up some juco defense backs or else we are in trouble yet again next year....

Mallet would have been the guy for Kiffin if he would have transferred to Tennessee.

True. He looked HORRIBLE at Michigan. Blitzing defenses tore him a new one and the ones in the Big 10 are not that great.

If the OL doesn't seriously improve it will be a long year for him. If they can block for him I can see him developing into a nice QB for the Hogs.

I remember a poster that said arkansas fans was delusional for thinking he would transfer to arkansas.

I think he has the potential to be very good in Petrino's offense. He was a highly recruited QB, has good size and strong arm, and managed to start at QB at Michigan as a true freshman. To do that he must have shown some ability. Interestingly, he was the #1 QB prospect in Texas. #2 was Jarret Lee.

Of course, but surely there were talented QBs in between the senior and the true freshman?

He will suck balls at Arkansas the same way he sucked balls at Michigan.
