Enough of the SMU/Boise fear

Man will you fear based guys stop spreading this stuff...
SMU os ranked #8 with no top 25 wins and a loss to BYU which is ranked #15.
In what world does SMU lose it's second game to an ACC team that lost both games to SEC opponents and they don't free fall past BYU who has the same amount of losses and who also beat them this season??
Boise is ranked #10.
If they lose they will drop past #11. We will move up to #10. Then UNLV or whomever will take the #12 spot.
Their result has no impact whatsoever
None of these results do. When we were ranked #13 that was what we needed and it showed the committee favored us and left a door open. We got all the help we needed this past weekend.

SMU is #8. I think they probably do drop below Alabama with a loss, but I'm not that confident in that and no one should be

You think they will drop them only 3 spots for losing to #17... a #17 that lost to every SEC team they played?

That’s not exactly what he said. But depending on the beating I’m sure that changes some. He gave the formula to how they rank. It’s simple. If they are willing to drop a #6 Miami to 12 why wouldn’t they move a #8 SMU to whatever below 12?

That works if you're Georgia and have wins over Texas (when they were #1), Tennessee and Clemson. SMU's schedule is weak. SMU is out if they lose.

Yeah that applies for the Power 2 conference obviously.
They literally showed you what they would do to SMU by examples of Clemson and Miami this past week. Clemson lost by 3 and dropped 5 spots. Miami lost by a couple more and fell 6.
They both fell because neither team beat top teams. Same as SMU.
Some of you can't even explain why BYU should be ranked behind SMU when they would both have 2 losses and BYU beat them head to head

I cheer my team and want them to win at all cost. I'm not a Milroe fan I just have actually played the game and know if the coaches keep picking him we need to get behind him and hope he can figure things out.
