How much lobbying will Alabama now do to try to squeeze in?
I'm sure that Nick is in the mix, but how much influence does he now have after playing his "Respect Card" to get in last season?

IMO the politics of keeping 2 from ACC causes them to leave Miami.
If Clemson wins it’s Clemson/SMU (Miami out)
If SMU wins it’s SMU/Miami

They keep Miami in as place holder.
The bad losses of Bama recently give them justifications.
What they do with ACC fully determines if another SEC school gets in.
