What’s new about that? The playoffs just expand the number of relevant teams. Instead of there being 5-6 “relevant” teams at this point in the season there are 13-14.

I don’t think there are a whole lot of donor or alum type that that care that much about what you call relevance. CFB is all about watching your guys play hard, partying, and talking trash. National interest and t-shirt fans come and go.

I was hoping for Arkansas to be relevant this year so it would be a much better game than being a boring one once again.

If you're not an alum and are just cheering for the entertainment, I can see the point.
But to me, supporting my alma mater is never irrelevant.

No, you were hoping drink was worth a shite and would be able to beat anything but cupcakes but you are still irrelevant. This game tomorrow is irrelevant for both teams but drink will put everything he has into it.
And at least we beat a ranked team.
