I’ve thought about this game ever since it was announced, was worse than expected

I’m on record fearing this game would be ugly, never did I think this ugly.

Week before Auburn, OU with a week off, on the road, night game, Milroe, etc

This is the new normal boys. We’ll still win plenty of games, but the consistency in how we played from the Saban era is gone.

What I most appreciate is, outside of Clemson 44-16, EVERY SINGLE LOSS was competitive at least well into the 4th. 2010 SCar maybe bucks the trend, they whipped us start to finish. But when we lost, 99% of the time it was very-close. We were always in it no matter how bad we played.

Those days are gone. Blowouts will happen now. Consistency is now gone.

Again, DeBoer will win many games, but we are now susceptible to the random blowout so many programs deal with year after year where you see the box score and are like WTF? We haven’t experienced that in 17 years

Very well said. We have been a spoiled bunch for quite a few years.

What makes you think Deboer will when many games? What is it about his coaching that makes you think that?

I don’t understand what has transpired to give anyone confidence in Mike Dubose Jr.

It’s been gone since the end of the 2020 season. I’d say it’s just the new normal in college football. Can’t discipline players and hold them accountable anymore like you could before, or they’ll hit the portal. This isn’t just a Bama issue because Saban’s gone. Look around college football and tell me who has been consistent this season. Oregon? They barely escaped a home win vs Wisconsin. A team we beat by 31
