Will it be a Ref Melt or a No Class Melt

Ref Melt = Texas beats A&M by 10 or less
... The game is close enough to refer back to any particular play where a perceived bad call was made against Aggie. Despite mainstream humanity observing it was the correct call, maroon blinders say different.
Therefore, it cost them the game.
No Class Melt = Texas beats A&M into the ground
... Texas fans have no class and some orange clad idiot at McDonalds said something distasteful to an honorable Aggie citizen. This melt occurs when there is nothing else to turn to due to a horrendous beating of that arse. And Austin sucks too.
I've done this for years, and I'm gonna call the "No Class" Melt for this one.

If A&M stomps Texas, do they take their playoff spot?

Not sure....
Still wondering if the Bama loss to Vandy eventually causes them to miss the playoffs.

Very possible that if A&M makes the playoff they knock both Bama and Texas out.
I'm sure they'd love that.
A&M winning out is the only way they make the playoff, winning the SEC. They'd be in.
Bama is out with a 3rd loss. Texas likely ends up as the lowest ranked SEC 10-2 team with their best wins over teams who are only .500 on the year or worse (teams like Michigan, Vandy and OU). Likely also behind ND if they get a second loss as ND would have a win over A&M.
Playoff teams would likely be ACC champ, Big 12 champ, G-5 champ, Oregon, OSU, Indiana, PSU, ND, A&M, UGA, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

You won't even be asking this come this Sunday.
