That second half was one of the most satisfying home game arse whoopings in a long time

Imagine being a Tennessee fan watching the bright arse red firework and red Coca-Cola logo on the Jumbotron after the Frazier touchdown. At that point, it's frick Georgia! And then watching your program savior limp off the field like a deer that just got sideswiped, playoff hopes and national title hopes down the drain for a 26th consecutive season. At that point, it's definitely frick Georgia!

Tennessee has been beating the "elite defense" drum all year long, and plenty of them were convinced that Georgia's offense was too incompetent to win this game. They had visions of their DL ruining Carson Beck's life. They missed some key components of that assumption. Like the fact that they had only played two road games. One was against an Oklahoma team with a gutted receiver corps, a patchwork OL, and a young qb having a horrible season. The other was against Arkansas, who gained 435 yds against Tennessee's elite defense. Six of their other 7 games were at Neyland stadium and gave their defense (and offense) a much more friendly environment in which to operate. And they glossed over their very easy 3 game OOC schedule, including a neutral site game against a completely inept NC St. team.

They also missed the fact that Georgia had played only 3 home games out of 9, which left a much tougher 6 game road/neutral schedule loaded with ranked teams and hostile stadium night games. In fact, lots of Georgia fans have missed that part too. So not only was Georgia's overall schedule much tougher than Tennessee's schedule, of the four common opponents (UK, UF, Alabama, MSU), Georgia played one at home while Tennessee played all four at home. Taken all together, it led to another year of self-delusion about their prospects of beating UGA.

The more I watch the film, the more I see how Bobo made changes to put what we have in a better spot to be successful.

Beck has looked most comfortable all season on play action (the little fake toss sweep thing). For whatever reason it gets him into rhythm and stands taller and looks more confident in the pocket.

I assumed that Bobo and company would notice that Tennessee's secondary is a liability, despite their season stats that seemed to indicate otherwise. In particular, they have some small DB's who would not be playing for Kirby because of their lack of size/strength/tackling ability. You may have seen the video of Ricky Gibson being ragdolled with one swipe of Jared Wilson's arm. They also have some inexperienced linebackers (as do we) who should've been exposed before now. They were just waiting for a team to come along that still knows how to use their tight ends.
