Per latest injury report

Based on what I've read. I'm officially labeling this dude as soft. Unless he had a major setback, it was bruised ribs and his availability would be determined by pain tolerance.

Can’t remember a more depleted backfield?

2011 when Branden Smith, Brandon Harton and Kyle Karempelis were getting late season snaps?

This is what you get with transfer players. They get hurt, have some pain, agent tells him to take it easy until the nfl draft. I hate it. All teams have to deal with this. And the more NFL quality guys you have, the more you have to deal with it.

Great point. Probably is what is going on with him sadly. Should have never trusted a Gator.

Florida had it out for him. They played dirty as frick. Also. You ever had a rib injury? I’m assuming you have not. It’s a debilitating injury and you can’t just get the ball and run into an SEC defense with a rib injury lol. Let me punch you in ribs as hard as I can and you go carry a ball against UTk on Saturday night.

That's incredible. Makes my JJ Green and Brendan Douglas seem feeble.

ROWK owned Tech though. But, I fully expect Bell to get some carries this weekend.

Peanut needs to be cooking like 5 carries or less at this stage or he’s gonna get turned into peanut oil. He’s like 170.

I tore rib cartilage in college and it was one of the more painful injuries I’ve ever had. That was eons ago, but it seems like it took 6 months to totally heal.

I told you the dude was speared in the ribs by UF. Ever had injured ribs?

They take a long time to heal and are painful. Breathing hurts. Taking a shot really hurts. I don’t know the severity of it, but the dude tried to go back in the UF game and tried to go last week. If he was a pussy, he wouldn’t have gone back like he did. My bet is the training staff said it wasn’t going to heal/improve if he kept taking shots and best to shut him down a few weeks so he can go for the Tech game and hopefully beyond.

Does it matter? We have 1,118 yards total for 2024. UT's Sampson has 1,129 himself. We have proven that we can't run the ball so Bobo needs to find a way to move it through the air.
