Have I completely missed all Cook news or are they keeping this pretty quiet on purpose?

I would have assumed he would be out for week, but the fact he was listed as doubtful mid week last week has me wondering if there's a chance he plays?

Throwing hand doesnt seem to be much of an issue

High ankle sprains are a bitch. Sort of shows how impressive his Auburn comeback was.

hindsight but man playing in the Bama game really fricked things up. could have had 4 weeks to rest the ankle and avoided the hand injury. All for a loss that was probably gonna happen regardless with Cook not being 100%

someone said fractured wrist but it isn't a public announcement or anything.

The ankle had time with the bye week and cryo treatments. Broken bones sound more feasible for this long of an injury. He may be done for the year.

Yep. I think the Auburn euphoria led to him playing against Bama.

I keep hearing wrist/hand but seems like he wouldn't be dabbing players up like he was in that video.

Broken wrist is possible. I broke my right wrist and had a cast for 4 weeks. Two years later I broke my left wrist and was given a brace that was "optional" to wear. Different breaks in different spots.

The Locked On Mizzou podcast guy has a theory that when Drink says he isn't out for the year that means he might be back for the bowl game. FWIW.

Why not? It is a huge game for us, probably the biggest of the remaining games. If we dont win, no other game is worth pushing Cook back ono the field. If he can play, he needs to play.

Its a do or die game for the most part.
