Start out ranked #1 and start out with Mel Kiper's #1 quarterback. Even when we win, shite still seems "off" and "not right."

If we play a nooner against Georgia Tech and it's raining and Tech wins, the circle will be complete!

That team had the # 1 overall pick playing QB. This one doesn’t. Similar issues with play calling though.

Tech this year is 7:30pm.

Just watched a replay. Feels like AU game from 2017.

O line completely whipped on the road.

Maybe we can mount a similar run to end the year.

Glad I’m not the only one with the same feeling.

ETA: unfortunately, I felt better about true freshman Fromm than I currently do about 5th year senior Beck.

Fromm had Chubb, Michel and Swift. I’d feel good about anyone under center.

Fromm also had 2 elite RBs to lighten his load and help with the ground game.

I was thinking the same thing about 2008, but yah, that team had a lot more talent on offense. We got blown out by Florida that year; gave up 40 points and lost to Tech.

That 2017 team also had a great offensive line with multiple first round picks on it, including one who might be the best left tackle in the NFL currently (at least until he got injured this season) in Andrew Thomas.
